oops! Guess not. Sorry NYchick. The other "prankster" dubs themself bbgirl. I'm still frickin' cracking up! We got the "tranny butt post" and the"organic protien seeker" all in one weekend, so I got them mixed up! LOL -
You done well my friend and hey, it looks like they got a little water hole. Not a bad idea! Good pics! Is the deer in pic#4,5 and 6 the roadkilled one?

Oh, I didn't realize that was a preserver. Obviously I wasn't referring to a 10K acre WMA. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that 10K acres of unfenced land is not a canned hunt. Had the OP said WMA then you wouldn't need to emphasize "if". So lets stay tuned and see if the OP throws out a response. K? Edit: I just realized the OP is the prankster from this mornings "tranny butt post". LOL -
Ha Ha! Welcome back, but can you Proooove Iiiiit?
-
Yep, a split-tail! LOL

Really what are we hurting though? Not trying to be rude. It's the circle of life. I rather hunt for my own food. Is that wrong? I'd really rather not grow an extra eye or a sixth testicle from eating meat from God knows where that is pumped full of chems and/or steroids. I hunt predators too, you know the ones that prey on those cute little fuzzy animals. So I count my efforts as doing a service.

Not asking you to leave, but whatevs!

MMMMKaaaay! Really It was sort of an example, why would you come to a Hunting forum and ask for us to stop hunting? We abide by laws and regulations and the $$ spent on hunting is used for wildlife conservation. It's sweet that you're starting to enjoy nature, but look more into it because we are actually balancing out the animal populations. Too many deer leads to not enough food to sustain them all and there will be deaths from starvation, disease,Etc.
-
We didn't get to the top of the food chain to eat salad. I'll bet, no I'll guarantee that your ancestors hunted for food!
-
I could really care less about your pic, but your plea is not going to be taken seriously just because you think the babies are cute. We welcome input, but asking us to stop is Rediculousness! LOL We don't carouse Facebook and ask you to stop showing premiscuous pics for fear that our children will see your butt or cleavage.

I think you're post is locked in darlin! Some hunters also donate meat to families in poverty too. Do some research on motor vehicle accidents with deer and deer population #s. You'll see that population control is needed.
-
Way to step into the hornets nest and post a pic of your a$$. We really can't take you seriouslywith a post like that. Let us know how everything goes the next time you or a family member hits a deer @ 65MPH in a car or motorcycle. You and your pocketbook won't think they're so cute then.

Break-free CLP http://www.midwayusa.com/product/840573/break-free-clp-bore-cleaning-solvent-lubricant-rust-preventative-4-oz-liquid Tip- In the off season, I usually seal my bore off at both ends with bore butter(after it's cleaned). I also store my BP, nipple, bolt in an airtight baggie after they get cleaned and a good coating of Break-free.

I say this alot and I mean it, hunting and killing are different. Add a canned hunt into this and they become even further apart. Yeah you could call it hunting, but definately not fair chase and the animals on the "preserve" are not really wild! If one can't be successful on a canned hunt, he/she needs to save their money and hit Wegmans! Hunting is not easy and that's the attraction, aside from the time oneself gets to enjoy in the solitude of nature. Killing an animal is not the only success of being a hunter. Learning to become a more proficient, skilled and ethical hunter by studying the habits/traits of our quarry is where hunters find success. -
Very nice photos. Thanks! Pics like these raise my anticipation for fall hunting season! Just no time to scout/prep while working 6 days a week. So I really enjoy the ones you all share on here!

Nah, just my adaptation to being out in the cold so much. Ok it might've been a slight exaggeration, but not much. I failed to mention my feet soles and the old jolly-roger, but they aint gettin' no sun! lol

I sent in my support of the bobcat management plan last Feb. It was never enacted for last years trapping season. Last word I got about this was that it would hopefully be in place for the 2013-2014 season. Anybody know if they are enacting it?

He absorbed the recoil with precision, like second nature. Like a sniper! His name rings a bell with me. I think he might have been in the History channel documentary about snipers.

I can understand that LEOs are in a high stress job that requires alot of focus, but what makes them better than the citizens that they've sworn to protect & serve? Correct me if I'm wrong but simple assault on another citizen is only a misdemeanor right? Now only verbal harassment towards someone wearing a badge is a freakin felony? Wow!

I can't ever get any good sized pieces off because the only spots that aren't covered in hair is my palms and forehead!
-
Oh the horror! lol I just found out I'm getting a raise, so it was a good day!

Might be best to wait til' early spring, but late fall should be okay. Just be sure that you pick a good spot with adequate sunlight, moisture, and air drainage. Lots of good info on the web.

Looks good! With soybeans and a 30 acre bedding area, you might not even need to plant anything, but it can't hurt either. If this spot is exclusive to you, you may wan't to think about some fruit trees! If you get some early scrapes going you should be able to hold the buck in the area and hopefully harvest him. They might be using the hardwoods as a bedding area in early Oct. to stay out of the heat.
