BJ- Here is the problem with that imo. Probable cause can be what? I understand what your saying. And I agree to an extent. But all too often it is nothing more than harassment of innocent people. Look at the statistics of people stopped compared to people charged. When over 90% of people who are stopped, frisked and harassed for doing nothing. I want to know what probable cause are LEO finding? Are they inept at their job? If you failed at your job 90% the time you would be canned tomorrow. I am a realist. I understand there are times that an innocent person will fit the description and detained. But over 90% makes you wonder what the hell is going on. Anyway. Im not ready to hand the federal govt more power to have the right to implement a nationwide stop and frisk.
