Id like to elaborate on my earlier post. If you are feom an area that was for the safe acr and you voted yay on the law then you did your job. You represented your people. Regardless how we feel. But those who coted for it in upstate ny where the people werent for it should be ashamed. Republican. Democrat. Whatever. Breaking nys into two states. Idk. Yes ince you leave westchester/putnam things become different imo. Its night and day politically especially in regards to the 2nd amendment. We cant be the only state who has this issue. Im sure a lot do. Not sure what the answer is hut but having nyc dictate laws and elections for the whole state doesnt seem to be a fair reflection of the state.

Worst part is elected officials voted yay on this when their constituents were in heavy opposition. They should have been ousted feom their position immediately

I made some disparaging comments about guidos and wops and got suspended. But the people who make the same comments about arabs don't. So we had someone say all muslims should be scrubbed from the earth and wasnt banned. But i say we need to do away with italians and im banned for a week. I will disagree with your first paragraph. But i will agree with your second. They send the most money there because thats where the people are asking for it. They're republican run states. Not democratic. So if they are states that are ran by the right how can you argue that? The same people whi are coting for trump are the same ones getting their govt checks. Lets just hope trump cuts all that money off to them. Thats the least he can do for us tax payers (for those abusing the system)

Im just saying that the south is the biggest benefactors of federal aid. You would think the northeast would be since they are left leaning and "democrats are the mass purveyors of public assistance ". Yet they are not. Its the southern states which rule the welfare state. Those are facts. Unless you can show stats that prove otherwise. Every stat i seen says the south rules welfare.
