I picked one up with the end of my fly rod from the rip-rap on Elton creek a lot of years ago. I watch those Leatherwood guys in Pa find tons of them during their season. Check out their YouTube channel
I got so lucky, the guy that planted our new trees came with a Bobcat. He cleared all the stump grindings from the old ones and smoothed everything out for $75! I put two yards of topsoil on it and it's seeded Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I scooped up a painted turtle in Potsdam that couldnt get up over the curb. We released it in Clarence some 200 miles away. The whole ride my cousin kept saying "Oh man I hope this turtles father isnt Liam Neeson."
I've picked up hundreds by the tail, I had no idea that it could hurt them. Won't do it again. Turtles are far and away my favorite animals. Chimps are my least favorite.
I just ran up to Captain Bobs in Clarence, aside from being a real nice guy hes got a lot of tackle and his prices are good. Ill be supporting him as much as I can
