I have three bears, all from August and their coats are thick. The New Brunswick one is much thicker than the Ontario bears but they are still great coats
I've gone a few times. One thing I recommend is bring your own hang on stand and sticks and set it up opposite the outfitters permanent stand. A bear will sit just out of range/sight and stare at those stands that have been there forever. And the best bug suit you can afford plus a thermacell! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I've had a $100 bushnell trophy on my slug gun for at least 16 years, for a cheap scope it's really held up. Although I have to admit I rarely shoot it, just sighting in and hunting. It probably doesn't have 100 shots through it
I used to have a special Guinness spoon for pouring them but the back of any tablespoon will do, just pour slow. And be sure to draw a shamrock in the foam!
