  1. I got mine from Dick's, but any outdoors store should carry it. It needs to be applied to your clothing and allowed to dry before wearing.
  2. Was working in the barn yard yesterday, getting things set up to load some cattle and had a few ticks crawling around on me. We really need a hard frost to knock these suckers out for the year. I hate ticks.
  3. To help lessen the possibility of shooting a buck that has lost it's antlers is make late bow season extend until January (doe only). The need for the animal to be closer for the shot allows you to notice if there are bumps or not. A lot of midwest states do this. I know a lot of bow hunters who will not take a doe early, but really start to rack them up in the late bow season.
  4. This right there would actually make a difference. I do not hunt in this area, but if there was an early doe only gun season with over the counter tags, I would probably take a weekend and hunt. The only problem is I believe the over population is really in the areas without public land. If the landowners do not buy into this, nothing will change.
  5. When my beef is processed, it is hung for atleast 2 weeks in a cooler set to 40°. All beef should be aged this way. The really high end steak house even serve beef aged up to a month. Venison would be no different, it is just most people do not have a temp controlled environment to age the meat in. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk

  9. That is exactly what I was told also. It makes a big difference. Don't worry about seeing where you hit. If you hear the arrow hit, when you get down and inspect your arrow, you will have a good idea how good the hit was. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
