  1. Yesterday afternoon, while looking for the doe I shot, had a tree blow down not 50 yards of me. Decided to bail and wait for a couple of hours to let the wind die down. Didn't feel too comfortable walking around with my nose to the ground looking for blood in that wind!Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  2. I went out tonight, winds 30, rain on and of and connected with a doe. I actually think the high winds are a help to the hunter.Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  3. First Crossbow Kill, PSE Fang, Rage Broadheads, went 30 yards. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  4. First crossbow kill. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  5. Good luck with that, they are gold this year!Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  6. I am hunting with my Fang as I type. First year with a crossbow for me. I have replaced the bolts with Carbon Express Pile Drivers and that is all I have changed from the package. Scope is a cheap model, but it is fine for the 20 to 30 yard shots I will take. Quiver is not very good. I carry it in my back pack because the bolts fall out of it easily. It does shoot pretty fast for the price and hits like a ton of bricks. Now just waiting to try it out on a deer. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  7. Sitting in a new blind setup. No way am I participating in the tree stand rodeo. Seen a big bodied spike so far. They must be late down here. Went from seeing zilch to two buck in less than 24 hours. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  8. Did not use Buck Bomb.Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  9. Well, I guess there are deer here after all, just had a nice 8 walk through. Didn't hit any of my lanes, it was like he knew where they were. Still shaking! LOL Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  10. Broome/Chenango County line. Seen more coyotes than ever and way less deer. Only two so far this season and I am normally covered up in them.Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  11. Sitting in a tree this afternoon, starting to think deer don't exist. Worst year ever!!!! Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  12. In the blind, light rain, should be done around the same time as sunrise. Got a lot of rain last night, hopefully the ending of it will put them on their feet. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  13. Now starts 5 days straight of hunting. Hope the weather cooperates. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  14. Nice shootin grow!!!!!Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  15. Ugh, one more day of work the 5 days of hunting!!! Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  16. That is how it starts though. Same thing as someone moving into a heavily AG county then complaining about the smell and such. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  17. Core, The fact that you are on this site asking questions and telling everyone your experiences and learning from them, shows you are the exception, not the norm.
  18. Coyotes are out of control here. Half tempted to change gears. Seeing more of them than deer. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  19. In the creek blind, dead calm and quiet, 48°. Would like it a little cooler. Just had a fisher run through, pretty neat. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
  20. I don't know how many more license sales this actually gets them. I have always bought my muzzleloaders tag, even though this is my first year I have a muzzleloader. The fact that I get to shoot two deer during bow season was enough for me to buy the tag. I know a lot of guys who do this.

    Well....

Unless it is in the northern zone, the bullet makes it illegal. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
