    Just talked to Pop he was out cutting wood yesterday...that’s why I couldn’t get him We talked about the kids, the new land purchase...his 11th great grandchild in the NICU. Funny he never mentioned being worried about any of the sissies he taught how to fill a freezer...he did mention that people were being told not to go out so he and my grandmother did their normal shopping Friday and aren’t planning on going anywhere like the good citizens they raised us to be.

    If he isn’t atleast 84 that sissy didn’t even see action in Korea like both my pop pops..tell him to quit crying and get atleast 6 ft away before you accidentally kill the poor old dottard Im calling pop now couldn’t get him yesterday it was his 85th birthday...doubt we will end our conversation snifflin like a bunch of sissies... I’m just teasing so settle down (I am calling pop now tho)

    If you are gonna sell sell sell by 4pm yes...by Thursday it’s back in retreat. We are already in my predicted 17k-20k bottom but I’m feeling bearish on that forecast now looking at sub 17000 as bottom in the next 10-15 days

    You’re right Lombardo is way wealthier than most of the US and they had more hospital beds per capita then we do by a significant margin

    If the eagles were smart they would pick up a 40 year old who actually has some rings and start him from game 1...rather than find another wash-up to prop up Wentz’s “franchise Qb” myth even tho his team won a super bowl without him and can’t win a wildcard game with him. Maybe Brady could lead them to a great season get hurt and Wentz could come in as an underdog hero...seems like the only way he wins one in Philly TLDR Wentz stinks give us Brady

    Yeah I won’t be doing that again... I have fished pretty cool conditions in March and April off the PB but I’ve been better prepared then I was for that first drake...I’ll never forget it that’s fir sure

    The first time was not well thought out (first bird down he was probably too far to begin with) and when the first wave came over the board I instantly realized gortex gloves mattered not (my kryptec bibs did keep me dry but with ice on them within a minute) By the time I git the 1/4 Mile out to finish him I was over 75 feet of water The rest I called in close and 2/3 washed ashore in less than a minute...the other I did some ice breaking with the PB to recover about 20 yards offshore on a still (but frigid) day

    Thanks I knew something was up with the black features it was over 2 days (3 hunts) I believe documented in the live from the woods thread ha the first drake I finished with my paddle from my paddle board in 2’ers at 10* and 7am in the middle of the lake...picked calmer times fir the other harvests ha

    Put this in the hunting thread because it’s not hypothetical... Let’s see what you put on the table or in the freezer this year and tell us what IN season animals (fish too) you plan to harvest and how in the upcoming weeks (Turkey and Trout time coming up) Im gonna try to get to a couple early (May) horny toms and then focus on bluegills and perch in the shallows and off the points and trout out of some 9-mile honey holes

    Farmers should be able to transfer nuisance tags out of season most that I know that raise cows do not hunt or even eat the deer they do shoot

    We have a few in the north end here but my grandfathers best friend has a private beaver lake in the poconos where we have caught 15” crappy but mostly 11-13” slabs they jump in the boat 3rd week in may Bluegills and Perch are also easy and delicious
