Presidential Sabotage?
Uptown Redneck replied to Doc's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
GO OBAMA GO! Leave nothing but a giant mess for the incoming, incompetent clown president to clean up. Sabotaging the incoming fool would be a welcomed departing gift. -
New Jersey Bow Licence for NYC Residents
Uptown Redneck replied to Brooklynbow's topic in Deer Hunting
Considering there is very little difference in the people who live in the NY/NJ metro area I cannot see the residents of NJ being open to strangers hunting on their land. -
Seeing how my daughter likes to go shooting I asked her last summer if she would be interested in taking the hunter safety course and going hunting with me, I told her we would go for just a few hours and if she didn't like it, no big deal. Her immediate response was, "No f-ing way!" (Yes from being around me she has picked up my colorful vocabulary). Needless to say I see zero interest in hunting from any of my daughter's classmates and from other kids in the neighborhood. Here where I live most kids are engaged in either after-school activities (music, drama club) or team sports.

Not any more. All of what you so correctly describe is the reason why I now only go out for a few hours for a few days during the season. And if it's brutally cold or raining, not at all. The desire and passion is no longer there for me to subject myself to the conditions you speak of just so I might get the chance to shoot something. There is plenty of food in the house and many restaurants and supermarkets if I should need more, all heated and dry, are nearby.

These shows have all turned into "infomercials"

Funny, but it seems as some of what my so called "imaginary" friends say is very similar to what Larry302 has posted. Now what do you think is the chance we both share similarly viewed friends?

I know of many former cops who all share thoughts similar to mine concerning the idiots who are now entrusted to patrol our streets. According to them the standards have all been lowered and they leave the academies trained to write tickets for anything imaginable, they are no longer trained on how to interact with citizens and the result of this are the morons we see in blue today, Sorry if the truth about today's members of law enforcement offends you.
-
Finally I succeed in getting you to think correctly, it took awhile but my influence is vast
-
I agree. However "back in the day", when things were considerably different and when the cops weren't the pr$cks they are today one got away with a lot more then is possible today. (Especially when one was known to most local cops through family connections in local law enforcement)

And most of the times that line ends up getting crossed lol

Usually the "crazy" ones are the most fun

I am curious of your age because when I speak to people younger then me (and unfortunately for me there seems now to be more and more of them lol), those in their early to mid 20's, they are all amazed when I tell them stories of the things we did back in the mid to late 80's, and most of them are shocked with what we all got away with doing. As I said earlier in this thread "times sure have changed". It certainly was a different and more fun filled time.
-
Don't knock it till you tried it. Sounds like a joint or two with a few beers might make you a better person
-
Times sure have changed. I remember as a kid, probably about 15 or so, smoking a joint with my cousin while driving to the gun club he was a member of. As for drinking, we used to measure driving times by the number of beers one could drink on the way to wherever we were going. AHHH to live in the 80's again lol.

I would have never thought hunting drunk would be illegal, not a very smart thing to do but never would think it illegal to do.

I have NEVER said anything about PCB's and sewage. I suggest you reread this entire thread and then reply to those responsible -
Look What's For Dinner
Uptown Redneck replied to Uptown Redneck's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
No no, but I have them enter the house through the back door after they scale my fenced in yard, I tell them the fence climbing is practice for any border wall that might get built. And yes it was very tasty. LOL -
I personally find that brunettes provide more "bang" for the buck with redheads being far more "entertaining"
