  1. Soul. Masked. No way you could mistake us. I have better legs.
  2. I was in Istanbul and visited a traditional Turkish barber. The kind of place where they burn your ear hair out with a long match. I asked for the classic and they gave me a Turkish cut and thick moustache trim. I looked like a local. A few days later, I was at the airport and handed the immigration guy my Canadian passport. He looked at it, then at me and didn't believe that I wasn't Turkish. Trudeau's a twit. I'd be more inclined to get the Dudley Do-Right.
  3. Sure to fishing. Negative to hair pic. "What are you doing, honey?" "Sending a picture of my hair to some anonymous guy on the internet." "That's nice. Don't stay up too late." Actually off to see my Mexican barber in an hour for the full two-hour treatment.
  4. There are many versions. I believe it is used in the midwest mostly, though there's a good NY example. I always thought it was rather quaint and ineffectual. Somewhat akin to saying, "oh yeah?" or "you and your mother!".
  5. I was always curious about the etymology of "go pound sand". But I like to believe there's more to it in the way that Rattler uses it. Not just "piss off and go do something useless" but also a tinge of impotent rage. Like this.
  6. I really can't be a shill as I would never belong to any organization that would have someone like me as a member. Ands it too late for the soul. Already traded it for another 10 feet on my forward cast and great hair.
  7. Like Tucker Carlson? Absolutely! Yet another example of common ground! This thread is great!
  8. Presidents should be able to tear up super-secret plane before some dolt shares them with foreign agents to impress them! "Great intel! The best! Many people I share it with say, 'Sir, we've never seen such intel!'"
  9. So lock them both up? Deal! You and I share more common ground than people think!
  10. Destroy it? Like eating it or flushing it down the toilet? That's how Big Lavatory gets you! We need some MI self destructing tape.
  11. The Oorang story has always fascinated me. People forget how large the breeder kennels were back then. Walter Lingo sold 15,000 puppies per year. Legit dog breeder or puppy mill? Little bit of both maybe. Marketing genius for certain. https://forgottenfranchises.com/2020/06/06/jim-thorpe-oorang-indians/
  12. Jan 6 was a hoax? Ask yourself where did all those people go to the bathroom? And who manufactured those fixtures? It's all right in front of you. Then consider that A] the average person uses a toilet seven times per day, and B] Trump is 75 years old. He has used the toilet 192000 times! You think Big Lavatory has ignored that? No way! What do they have on him? What deals he make on the side? Two things to remember. Trump illegally kept his "love letter" from Kim Jong-un and Kim travels with his own toilet so that no one can steal his feces and get his DNA. Trump is obsessed with toilets - almost as much as Cartman's mom is with German scheisse videos, and Trump's family is German! What was in that letter? Was it written on toilet paper? The next time you're on your hands and knees in a public restroom look behind the toilet for the label. American Standard or Toto? Or DAEIL Sanitary Wares from, wait for it ... KOREA!!! Just asking questions.
  13. Is that how it works? They back everything up on hard drives? Multiple times? Cool. Then why do they have a National Archives and Records Administration? They just need a guy from the Geek Squad. https://www.nytimes.com/2022/02/09/us/politics/national-archives-trump-classified-material.html You have to think beyond the obvious. Trump has a lifetime of only using paper and never email. A reputation for destroying business documents to cover his tracks. And an issue with poorly flushing toilets. It's all there, kid. Follow the ballcock and you'll find that it's all big lavatory money!
  14. That's not the question you should be asking. The question is with 28 fireplaces in the WH, why is this moran flushing paper down the toilet?
  15. You're cross quoting but anyway, did you read the article? Unless you're a tried and true Nixonian, a president cannot destroy or even own presidential documents. It's actually illegal - http://uscode.house.gov/view.xhtml?path=/prelim@title18/part1/chapter101&edition=prelim This may help explain it. https://theconversation.com/whether-up-in-smoke-or-down-the-toilet-missing-presidential-records-are-a-serious-concern-176964 Us guys on the left? Like Shoeless Joe Jackson, Manny Ramirez, Pete Rose and Ted Williams? Left field is a pretty hallowed ground, Nuke.
  16. What's bred in the bone will come out in the flesh.
  17. Good, bad or otherwise, Michelle Obama would win in a landslide if Biden stepped aside and if (big if) the country can get over it's newly found hatred of political families.
  18. A president can declassify documents. However, they cannot steal them. https://www.nytimes.com/2022/02/11/us/trump-documents-criminal-law.html
  19. I wish. Permit may be out of my reach. Wrong location and my double haul sucks. So this is what I was trying to say. You can and should demand both competence and decency in a president. I would throw in compassion and some kind of weird quirk to make him/her relatable. Again, this is key. Trump is the biggest loser in American politics. In fact you could make the argument that he is the biggest loser in worldwide politics. No person in politics has had as many people vote against him as Trump has. And it's all his fault. Haley is interesting in that she is a political opportunist with no firm direction as near as I can tell. That could mean that she understands compromise and has a willingness to work with the other side to achieve good for the country (and herself). I don't know enough about her. Desantis is dangerous. He is smarter than Trump and if coupled with Trumpian tactics, could cause serious harm to the country. However, there's no way in hell Trump will endorse him or anyone for that matter. And there's probably no way he will rerun as he can grift more money parading his hurt snowflake feelings around the country. Pence will probably make a run but the MAGA/GQP will never forgive him and he's like watching paint dry. Expect the republicans to tear each other apart for the next few years.
  20. North, I appreciate your counter but I'm about to get into a car and drive for four hours and don't have the time, or frankly the inclination, for a point-by-point debate. Suffice it to say, I'm willing to wait out another year on Biden. Obviously, my distaste for Trump and his family is palpable. If "all politics is local" then living in NYC for 20+ years have shown me enough of the local and political character that is Trump. I'll happily own up to that. But in terms of the office of president, I believe that there should be a level of decorum associated with it. That is should be the aspiration, or at least garner the admiration, of every little kid in the country. And that the individual once elected should rise to the office. I think Bush was a good example of this. Bit of a clown in real life, but respected and rose to the office. I don't think Trump did. So I always had trouble reconciling, "Yeah he's a buffoon, asshole and an embarrassment but gas is cheap so Yeah Trump!" Maybe it truly "is the economy, stupid." Appreciate that I am Canadian and prior to my time here, I've lived the majority of my life in Canada and abroad, so I bring that experience to the table of social and political discourse. To quote the great Ebbie Calvin "Nuke" Lalosh "Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains. Think about that for awhile." Off to explore.
  21. Thank God we were able to stop Hunter Biden from becoming president! I don't know, everytime I see Fredo he seems pretty stoned on something. But he's an idiot and no one takes him seriously. The bigger issue was that Trump put his failure of a SiL in charge of the country. That kid lined his pockets in the WH and ran your life for four years. The grandson of Holocaust survivors who said of NY desperate for PPP in early covid while he was hoarding the stuff, "That's their problem." https://gregolear.substack.com/p/shame-cometh-the-jared-kushner-story Kids ... amirite?
  22. I didn't realize. Anyway, next cerveza is on me.
