My number 1 suggestion would be to buy one bigger than you think you will need. They tend to fill up fast. Be advised that most of the home and gun safes on the market today can be opened with an earth magnet. You can buy these magnets on Amazon and EBay. Go to YouTube and you can see video's on how easily it's done. But the home and gun safes are great for peace of mind when children are present.

For any veterans or coin collectors if interested. This is the second ever colorized coin made by the US Mint. I bought the first one in 2020. The colorized Purple Heart silver dollar looks gorgeous. Orders start tomorrow at noon........limited quantities. There are other coins available......(gold , proof half dollars ...etc).

I also own a Harrington & Richardson single shot 10 gauge. I shot a hen with it years ago but is way too heavy to walk around with.

I bought this Featherlight years ago for small game. It’s nice and light were I could carry it all day.

That is interesting….. thanks for posting it.

Turkeys have been strutting and gobbling around the yard for about a week now. I noticed that when my American Redbud tree blooms in my front yard , the season will be starting.

$1300.......please don't tell my wife ! I'll pay for your silence Lol.

I've noticed recently that a lot of members here complain about the recoil from 3 and 3 1/2 inch shells. Granted that I wouldn't want to go to the range and blast off a few boxes of 3 1/2 inch shells , but I don't think twice about hunting with them. Am I the only one who doesn't feel the recoil when I'm shooting a turkey with one ? When I pull the trigger on a turkey , all I feel is the adrenaline rush and the explosive shockwave of the muzzle blast. I love it too Lol.

Thanks......you need to treat yourself to one. I'm sure that you'll enjoy it. If you do , go with the freeze dried head . Don't scrimp with the artificial heads as the look fake in comparison.

They sure take up a lot of space on the wall don't they ? Lol

Quit dicking around and use a 12 gauge with a full choke barrel. It's not rocket science.....you owe it to the turkey for a quick and humane kill. Forget the deer box blind while your at it ......get on the ground so your mobile. Your odds for success will improve tremendously. Forget using deer hunting techniques to hunt turkeys in the spring. I don't mean to sound like an expert or to insult you in any way , but it appears to me like your going at it all wrong. I don't mean to offend you ....it's just my 2 cents for what it's worth.

I just got this guy back from the taxidermist a few days ago.......shot him last spring. Not my biggest gobbler but one of the funnest turkey hunts that I had recently.

Here's a novelty knife I made a couple of years ago. Not really practical to use though.
