You might be right. I know you have to get the pelt sealed when the season is open. I was thinking maybe the D.E.C. might want to collect some data from it.

Years ago I was contemplating buying a Remington SP Mag 10. Now I wish I did , although they don’t make them anymore. Ive seen them on Gunbroker selling for big bucks. I think Ithaca still makes an auto 10- gauge.

Best of luck wolc123 , I just hope you have a good pair of track shoes. You might need them to chase after the gobbler when you shoot. In all seriousness , I hope your plan works for you. It's a bit unorthodox to say the least but stranger things have happened. You might find out eventually that experience is the best teacher. Good luck !
