    Get it bad myself and blew it big time with a poor shot on the 9pt I recovered this morning.still kicking myself for that poor shot as I shot multiple time during off season,just got the best of me.when he grunted back and came right at me I had him within 10 yards.walked out to 18yrds looking for the buck that was looking for a fight.between drawing and the shot it had to of been 5 seconds.rushed it bad not wanting him to catch me drawing back or having to draw down.never want to loose that feeling but self control is deff in order.good suggestions guys!

    Found him!50 yards from where I stopped and backed out,bedded down right next to a small pond.unfortunetly something got to him.ass gone,insides hanging out and smells.now I question if if I should've kept going yesterday.either way I know I did the right thing by following up and I'm dam happy with it meat or not.shot was low and back.turned n went out center of his stomach on other side

    Thinking I may have to.dark red blood and some lighter blood with small bubbles I noticed.hunting south west of Rochester in byron.western ny

    Sounds like my morning.saw a doe cruising 80 yards n saw something trailing.grunted n came right at me.8pt.not big but a shooter for my area.flew right by me n went into field.grunted again and he grunted back.came in behind me with no shot again.grunted and he grunted back.came in a perfect broadside shot at 18 yards.dropped my bow hand!!!!!!!white hair and blood no arrow.he bolted off prob 60 yards then started walking hunched with tail straight out.waited 2 hrs and started walking slowly.drops of blood and little piles prob 4" in diameter.followed 150-200 yards till hit property line issues and don't want to push him due to poor hit.marked it on huntstand app and know where last blood is.its been eating me up all damn day bad,replaying everything over and over.dont have a yote issue in area as I know of.have never seen one.took off work tomorrow and heading back out there first thing in morning with cousin.neighbor across street knows people on next rd over.told me to give him a call if I need more access as he's friends with then.as I was standing there these 2 cruised right by at 40 yards like nothing.sorry for sideways pic

    Solid buck congrats culver!had one come in behind me at about 50yrds like it was going to come down trail and went right back the other way.didnt see if it had head gear or not.wont be back out till tomorrow morning.good luck to those going out this afternoon and happy tree surfing!
