  8. what type of plant is all that red stuff on the ground?
  9. I have some friends who went to college at UB and Syracuse. They always called them "Buffalo snow pigs" and "Cuse Snow Pigs". They really wear down the college dorm bunks, but usually good for BJ's during bulking season. Lots of cloudy/gloomy days in those parts of the states. I guess they eat all day?

The owners pay for a full season, so when someone only play 6 out of 10 games, they still pay the same amount. That's the issue. Hopefully for the Yankees sake, the HR chase didnt tire him out for the playoffs.

I think 60 games was covid season. so he played 242/384 = 63% of the games for a 3-year stretch. So he missed 142 games (basically a full season, would have been more if not for the shortened season)

    MLB 2022

He proved me wrong this year and won MVP. But he also barely played in 2018, 2019 and 2020 combined. I suspect he'll back to some injuries next year after the toll of finally playing so much this year. I hope the Yankees pay a ton for him. At 31 next year and a brand new contract, we'll see a different player. He bet on himself and won. Good for him, get paid and then relax!

    MLB 2022

Well, today is the grand finale for MLB regular season and we have zero drama. All 6 seeds in both the NL and AL are locked up. My opinion on regular season awards below: AL MVP = Judge, followed by Yordan Alvarez, and then Trout/Ohtani or vice versa? NL MVP = Man this is close. 2 of @Nomad's boys with identical WAR and similar numbers. I think Goldschmidt wins it, but Arenado's defense is insane. I'll say Goldy, Arenado, Machado, Betts. AL Cy Young = Verlander....followed by Cease then Othani and Manoah NL Cy Young = I hope Sandy win its even though Wright won 21 games. So I'm hoping for Sandy, Wright, then Urias? New playoff format this year, so we got 4 games friday and 4 games saturday. Should be electric. Hard not to think Yankees/Astros is a lock in ALCS. NL would be epic if it came down to Mets/Braves, but can Dodgers really choke again? Red Sox suck, so I'm rooting for Mookie Betts to win NLCS MVP and WS MVP. If that doesnt happen then I'm rooting for the underdogs - Mariners vs. Padres would be fine.
  15. 396 acres, a gazillion tower blinds and trail cams. 7 food plots. Who is going to buy it? https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/Vl-Vanetten-Rd-Corning-NY-14830/2063428153_zpid/

  19. I’ve never ranged a deer in NY. But I have out west. In NY I range trees before any deer come. I also have hang ons in putnam, dutchess and CT. Sometimes I need 6-8ft to see over a ridge and stay hidden behind trees. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  20. Hmm sounds tempting. I hate not being able to range new tree spots before first light Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  22. In 2019, I used Quaker Creek per @Bionic suggestion for venison hot dogs, pepperoni, and sausage. My deer was alfready butchered elsewhere and i simply brought them boneless chunk meat which was weighed in front of me, etc. Everything came out great. But I didn't use them as butcher. Last year I used SmokeHaus in Dutchess county for snack stix and hot dogs. similiar deal, brought them frozen venison in January that was already butchered. Everything came out great also.
