  1. Awesome, make sure you send us the pictures WHEN you get one with it!
  2. Check out this wily old mature coyote. He proved to be a smart devil, playing it safe off in the distance and refusing to step foot into the fields. Luckily, he was close enough for Paul who whacked and stacked his third in three days here in New York and finished off a great week of coyote hunting with a nice kill on video.
  3. You wouldn't believe the spot if I showed you; 80 yards from a road, 100 yards from a house, and I walk down the driveway and cut into the woods for an excruciating 30 yard walk to the stand. For some season deer flock to this 10 acre block of woods like crazy, I am guessing it is all the acorns. I shot a 140" off it last year.
  4. Luckily, I can take two bucks till the end of December so I may have to take both.
  5. Like coyote hunting, we love our deer hunting, so no coyote hunting till the end of deer season. There is also the problem of all the hunters walking the woods and most of our properties are off limits till the end of deer season so we just hang up the calls for a couple months. However, we do have one on deck....stay tuned.
  6. It's that time again, happens every year at this spot, I don't have one shooter on camera ALL year then the rut kicks in and they appear out of the wood work. I love the screwed up rack buck, I almost want him more then the big 8. I don't think I would shoot the 8 in the last picture, just a little too pencily, maybe he will make it to next year.
  7. Well, we have thought about it but, we came to the conclusion to just stick to posting them up on You Tube for now. We have talked to a lot of groups/companies about DVD production and it just sounds like too much work, money, and liability to make it worth it. Also, we like the fact that we can interact more with the viewers. Plus, this video has close to 300 views in just under 5 hours of being posted, imagine how long it would take to sell 300 DVD's. The plus side of a DVD would be you would be able see the footage that never makes it to You Tube. You wouldn't believe the amount of footage we have when it comes to screwed up hunts, bloopers, misses, etc. We are not completely ruling out a DVD however, I can tell you nothing is in the works. We need to find someone to back us and pay for some production company to put it all together for us so we don't have to lift a finger
  8. This was an exciting hunt for us as we rarely see this behavior during the daylight hours and we are ecstatic that we were able to capture it on camera!
  9. Thanks for watching guys and stay tuned for a couple more videos we are working on. You can find the calls at the following link... http://www.downwindoutdoors.com/shopping/calls/dwo-signature-series.html We get a lot of weird responses from deer when we are calling especially at night. We are hunting in Central New York around the lower Adirondacks.
  10. We worked long and hard to get Mike on camera and it FINALLY happened! It was an interesting hunt with all types of animals visiting the call.
  11. I use Cabela rubbers with 2000 gram insulation and have been out hunting coyotes in Feburary in -18° (lowest we have seen on the truck thermometer). These boots work wonders and have yet to get cold toes.
  12. One deer is from upstate and the other from down state, we are hoping to see both of them again in the flesh. I will eventually upload the video of the one, hopefully this weekend, stay tuned.
  13. Two days ago someone spoted one on the south side of I-90 near the Amsterdam exit...they are coming!
  14. They are also really easy to replace when they break. However, I have had mine on for a year now and no signs of breaking.
  15. Been shooting the Carbon Express Blue Streak Selects all summer and have absolutely loved them. I finally got around to fletching my hunting version….
  16. Finished my AR, just in time for the season however, I still have a long way to go before this puppy, well, kills a puppy. I don't have any free time to polish off my load development so I plan on doing it all opening day after the first setups. Looks I am designated cameraman. You can read the full article here... 17. These are the biggest bucks I have on cam this year but I won't start getting several different bucks a week until the acorns start to drop. I can only hope there is another 140" roaming the woods like last year.
