  1. O btw this is the one I sent back because it did not go off reliably with all ammo I wanted to use after getting it back I most of shot almost 100 rounds of every type of ammo I had around no miss fires works flawlessly now .
  2. Sound like it could be good to shoot around corners or behind a tree want to sell it to me
  3. the fiber optic is .125 higher then the beed its just the camera angle that makes it look lower When you look down barrel all you see is the fiber optic that actually works good . I probably should try some slugs with that new fiber optic with three reference points that it has maybe one will line up dead on with a slug then I just have to watch for elevation. I just wanted to play around with making a mount and that red dot I had lying around . Just a science project not something I would hunt with . For That I need rock solid mount as you guys already mentioned. I just emailed the manufacturer ask if they can drill tap or or recommend somebody around here that does it . They started making them after the fact pre drilled and tapped which sucks they didn't offer that when I bought mine . I think I may be the one who gave them that idea.
  4. I was thinking of using those at first but didn't like the looks of that. Got a front fiber optic beed for it that helps still want to add to it.
  5. I replace the bayonet with a beer bottle opener .
  6. You mean after its bolted on to the stock part ?
  7. Yea I saw that had It in my mind like the ones the sell for the rem 1187
  8. Yea there are 2 pass through bolts on the front part of the stock I can use .
  9. Contour Gauge make a template first , would practice on a steel rod first before I did anything on the actual gun .
  10. Yes I have drill press and vise that locks down in place But Still unless I get exact measurements exactly the right spot on receiver or Barrel to drill and how deep not touching it. Going to contact the manufacturer for guidance and ask if they can do it or recommend someone near me . Or use the 2 bolts that already go through that stock and make a bracket that attaches to them . Thanks for the comical remarks much enjoyed Here another one for you
  11. Btw Any of you guys no the exact spot and depth i need to drill on that shotgun I may drill and tap it myself buckmaster
  12. Not pleasing to the eye . Mine looks cool at least even if after about 15 shots its loosing up on me took it out this morning and shot some #6 bird shot out of it at 25 yards even after 15 shots it still was hitting at my target what I was aiming would have been dead then I noticed it coming loose .. I new it would eventually Was a fun experiment Next I may try using the 2 bolts that hold part of the stock to mount something on it . That is if I don't find a gunsmith first to drill and tap it asp . Fun fun fun
  13. I used I use Branneky rem Sluggers and Winchester I used the cylinder choke Biggest diameter one I have 3 chokes full modified and that one
  14. The first thing when I went to pick that up is ask if they had a gunsmith to drill and tap the thing the guy said no and didn't even know one around that does that anymore . I asked the manufacturer if it could be drilled and tapped they said yes . But figure I experiment with it just for fun . Not using that for deer like that .
  15. You could be right not using it for deer . Just my little experiment
  16. I got a Remington 700 to and a few other Guns by the way . I bought that thing just to kick around.
  17. If it don't work I will do that just like to Tinker with things.
  18. Here we go again So I should stick with my weatherby? Or maybe step it up and get one of those blaser rifles you love so much . What's that Model that the bolt flys out at your face when you shoot it going to get one of those
  19. That gun with beed shoots slugs low and right . To get it on the center I have to aim like 1 foot high and 1 foot left . Its anoyoning and I wouldn't hunt with that type of set up .
  20. Here's a the secret lock tight. But if you blast away all day long definitely will shift eventually question is will it put up with an acceptable amount of use before that happens, I don't know
  21. Patent clamp on mount ? Not worth the trouble to easy to copy.
  22. Will it hold zero? not for a 1000 meter competition for sure but 60 70 yards with minimum use, possibly I let you know when I get a chance to test it .
  23. Good luck finding one not worth it for that gun anyway
  24. Have not yet tested with slugs yet only took 2 shots with #7 so far so good
  25. Couldn't find anything stock to mount a red dot or scope on this new shotgun I bought didn't want to risk trying to drill or tape it . So I figured I try and make something to clamp on it . Came up with this started with some plastic that I heat formed to the shape of the gun then used .05 5052 aluminum bent it around a pipe that was the same diameter as plastic sandwich it together I used plastic on inside and a layer of black duck tape to keep it from scratching the gun .
