    Big doe down. Had her lined up in the scope, squeezed the trigger and "click". Round failed to discharge. Had to try and chamber another round without being heard or seen. 2nd times a charm.

    Pulled the cards from my trail cams and most of the movement for the last two weeks is happening between 9pm and 2am. I don't know what changed to cause this. I didn't see hardly any movement during daylight hours and I was seeing plenty before.

    #Live from my truck at work #Deer selfie This doe walked right up to the window of my truck while I was on the phone. Scared the $h!t out of me. Then proceeded to the apple tree in front of our office.

    Sat till noon then back out at 2. Only saw two small does, around 8 o'clock. One walked up about 5 yrds. from the blind. I thought she was going to climb in a share a cup of coffee. And yes I said blind. #Notreestands

    Damn straight it will eat good. I've put one of those in my freezer before. It walked right up on me on my way into a stand. Took some heat from my buddies but I claimed self defense.

    I stayed in myself this morning. After seeing all the breakfast posts I decided to make sausage gravy and biscuits for the kids. I did sneak out back to pull the card out of my other cam. Bucks still seem to be moving too late or too early.

    New piece of property and they are still doing some logging. So it was either this or nothing

    After 40 days and 40 nights It has finally stopped raining. First evening I've been able to sit this season.
