Thank you for this excllent article Grouse. I am a man of modest means and have worked all my life. I will never be rich yet I understand what a disaster it is to tax the tar out of those that have more as they will leave the country/state and will not be encouraged to use their resources for growth of their companies and concerns which helps everyone and keep us employed and adding value. Just look at how rapidly successful individuals and companies leave NY. Most small business owners I know are frustrated with the taxes and bureaucracy and many of them are either moving out, quitting or retiring early.

And like the article says ADK, the government isn't going to stop spending money when the tax revenues drop, they will raise taxes on the people still here, THE MIDDLE CLASS!

The sad part is they won't stop spending money if revenues increase.. they will over spend and come back and ask for more... if they stopped spending money that they don't have on things they shouldn't ... nobody would have to be taxed more.

That's the truth, the more they have.....the more they'll spend. Who do you think they will raise taxes on next when the they are done bleeding the 1% dry? That's right.....us, what used to be called the "middle class".
