biggamefish
Alright I have been in the woods and made sure my main stand is clear and cleared a new one. So I am in good shape have pics of does moving through the area and I know bucks move through there. I am going to stay out now. I grabbed my goose calls this morning and started practicing my calls for September. People look at me wierd when I drive down the road calling geese. Man I can't wait to get out there. I might have to go squirrel hunting to get this itch out.
Fantail
Know how you feel - can't seem to go 10 minutes without thinking about something to do with huntin`. While I don't goose hunt squirrel hunting is a good way to feed the itch. Speaking of which - I haven't had a good mess of squirrel & sweet baby rays in a while. sweet old bill
I use to do the same thing to get redy to hunt the big birds on kings ferry area. We would sign in and get some of the areas with cut corn next to the lake and hope the birds with come in. I only had 2 doz decoys. But I found they seems to like beans field as well as the corn.
