DMP's 2013 for Region 3 - What did you get?

I don't get that Biz.. you're taking an opportunity away from someone that will use them.

Like I said, I like to have it in my back pocket incase I see a cool looking doe. Last year I mailed 1 to a member on this site.

Bow-only in Putnam? where? Putnam is a shotgun county

I'll have to search it and get the actual locations. I just know how to get to them, not what roads, etc. haha. I know putnam is a shotgun county, but there's a lot of state land that is bow only. Not sure why, but it is.

got one 3M and actually got a 4R to my surprise. My dad got a 3M and got turned down for 4R. My brother 2 for 3M.

I dont know of any lands in Putnam that are bow-only.

That's DEP not state......

Fahnestock (sp?) is state and thats bow only.

There's another park also......have to go to DEC and look on "places to hunt".....Hudson Highlands maybe?.

Saved my 10 bucks and didn't bother with tags......little chance so I didn't see the point.

There's a bunch of land along 301 and other surrounding roads that is bow only. The link you posted was DEP land, not state. Check the links on the DEC web site, and theres even more that whats on the site.

As per DEC site-

Clarence Fahnestock - Bow only

Hudson Highlands - Bow only

And I know there is a few other spots as well. Plus there is the DEP reservior land (not bow only), as well as a bunch of other land that you're aloud to use shotguns on.

Still trying to get a 3G tag if anyone has one! Will trade a 3N tag, or if you dont want the 3N tag, I'm sure we could work something out in trade!

was talking to the guy at gander mountian he told me you need 3 preference points for a 3k tag so pay for it for 3 years and the 4th year you will get one!! crazy
