Buck killed in KY motel bathroom

This is the quote from a local taxidermist

"I got a call Wed AM from a deputy sheriff here in Marshall County who was wanting to know how to preserve velvet deer antlers. Seems somebody had hit a nice 8 point buck on Hwy 641 in front of Maggie's Jungle Golf and the BelAire Motel. The buck wasn't fatally hurt but then decided it would be a good thing to jump thru the picture window of one of the motel rooms to hide out. The deputy shot it with a tranquilizer dart to no effect. They ended up having to put the buck down to get it out of the bathroom of the motel room. I saw a pic of the whole scene this AM and to say that it was a bloody, nasty mess would be an understatement. It is a shame that such a nice animal met such a tragic ending. It's also a shame that once the police loaded up the buck and left, the motel staff was going to have to clean the place up."
