The Walden Sportsmen's Club is now accepting applications for new membership for October.If you are interested in becoming a member,go to our website at waldensportsmensclub.org and print out an application.We have approx. 80 acres of land which you can hunt.We offer trap shooting every Sunday Morning 9 till 12. Archery,one of the best 3D courses in Orange County,Rifle and Pistol Range and more.

Just a great club. As a past member in the 1960's when I lived in Walden. My Dad and I both were members. I sure would join but now am upstate near Oneonta.

how much is the membership?

A one time initiation fee of 150.00 dollars....dues are 120.00 dollars per year...You are required to work 15 hours......If you do not fulfill your work hours, you would be charged 10.00 dollars per hour...You would also receive 1 hour of work time by attending regular monthly meeting....a maximum of 6 hours....

I belong to the Walden Sportsmen. What makes it, is the great bunch of guys who are in it. I started out shooting trap there on Sundays, and a lot of times when you are a beginner in those situations people will turn their nose up at you. At this club everyone was really cool and willing to give advise, and encouragement.

Thanks for the great words...............We try to do our best.......We need more younger people coming into this sport so it can keep going...........It's ashame when a new member joins the club and doesn't take advantage of the things we have to offer and the knowledge of the senior member........
