$80 sounds fair. It's $90 in Westchester (Amato's, by Bob's Bait & Tackle in Katonah).

Just jumping into the forums, but back on topic. When I saw only $80 to butcher a full deer. I was in shock at how reasonable that is especially on Long Island. Takes alot of time and effort to do all that work and dealing with the ticks. I only have seen and heard of Fins to Feathers taxidermy (seen the amazing work hanging proudly at Dicks in melville) and the guy in Oakdale on Sunrise highway. I don't know of any others around here.

I jut used Cary Stevens in centereach area weeks ago and I was very pleased with him and his service. He is extremely close to my house and that made it convent for me. But all in all $80 for his butchering was top notch.

If I had gotten something wall worthy I would have taken it to Rich (fins to feathers) I hear nothing but great things about Rich.

I always try to do my own but always good to have these options if I can't.
