While my cams haven't produced many big bucks I'm seeing neighbors and friends pics and reports of some real beasts for the area. I'm excited, can't wait to get out there!

I think the number of deer in the general region 3 area has significantly increased. It seems like the red oaks are producing acorns this year. I live over in rockland (3R) and there have been a number of bucks hanging around the back of my house, which has never happened before. I'd see a doe on occasion but never any bucks. Maybe I'm totally wrong, but I have a good feeling about this year.

Scouted out my property sunday,trimmed some shooting lanes,set out a camera,etc.Did'nt see much sign,But saw a ton of deer out in the open fields in the middle of the afternoon in broad daylight,With out a care in the world.Thats the problem I find during the bow season,I see nothing during the day because their all out in the open well before sunset.It;s not until the rut kicks in that I see movement deep in the woods.
