Has anyone used this search service? how was the experience and how exactly do they operate? thanks

They were great...every thing is very professional but there's a few things you should know...they contact the DEC...give all info...and were the search will take place ...you have to have neighbors permission to cross lines...so get phone #'s in advance...they work on donations...I gave 100.00...even though the deer was not recovered ...they came back two days....it started raining the second they knocked on my door and rain all night...the dogs will take you through some of the worst terrain ever, if that's where the scent trail takes them...carry phone and hand loppers..and protective eye wear's not a bad idea either.... we went through swamps and wild rose... pine down falls...you name it

They will question your shot placement and have a list they go through before going out....and papers to sign....

I also used them once. I didn't find my deer either but I had a bad shot and then had to wait a day and a half then they got their. Not there fault they were busy. Great people and great dogs. THey make you think about the shot and then work it out with them. I would use them again in a heart beat.
