Lawdwaz
Had a Dr appt yesterday. Her words....."oh my, you have an abdominal hernia, I will refer you to a surgeon AND a GI for your chronic heartburn". My words (under my breath) "phuck me" (sorry mods, dock me a point) We'll just have to see how bad this hernia is. No pain, just a HUGE bulge between my belly button and bottom of rib cage when I lay down. I don't really believe it, YET! Hey Doc, c u in Jan. <grin>

Hey Doc, c u in Jan. <grin> yikes I had one of those once... and I got it during hunting season a few years back. It wasnt bad but the Doc wanted to get it taken care of like the next week and it was only the 2nd week of the season. I told him I am not willing to have the hernia fixed until after I get my deer. As a fellow hunter he understood but insisted that it needs to be taken care of before it gets worse. I told him thank you for looking out for me but Ill call and make an appointment when Im ready. a week later I called and scheduled my appointment after I got my deer. He laughed at me and said he would have done the same.. really cool guy, older, he passed away the next year

Hey Doc, c u in Jan. <grin> I had one of those once, Larry, but it turned out to be a mutant, renegade, runaway FART.. On a serious note , be careful and follow your Doctor's orders..A strangulated hernia can be serious business...Good luck, Buddy...
