Kelty
I have just bought a marlin 60 and was wondering if anyone has a good scope they could recommend. I have around $70 to spend, and was considering the bsa sweet .22. Any suggestions or recommendations much appreciated.
Elmo
I have this on my Ruger 10/22. I have no complaints about it. It has served me well. http://www.opticsplanet.com/simmons-22-mag-3-9x32mm-rifle-scope-with-rings.html
Pygmy
A scope for a plinking/small game rifle does not have to survive extreme recoil or probably not even a lot of nasty weather, unlike a scope that you might put on a rifle and use for two weeks in Alaska under harsh conditions. I suspect the BSA would serve you just fine, as would many other low priced scopes...I had a BSA Sweet 17 on a 17 HMR and I had no complaints with it. Culvercreek hunt club
Make sure you can look through one. I have had mixed results with Simmons. Some models were very clear and others were not.
