TheTruth2
So the one on the left I shot this year obviously, the one on the right I shot last year and never really scored either of them because that's not what it's about to me. But I'm just curious as too what you guys would put these at..
ants
All I can tell you is that the one on the left is nicer than the buck I shot this year. LOL! Congrats nice buck.

heatmizzer
this years buck should gross around
BizCT
I'm no expert, but I'm not sure if either break 100. Maybe the one of the left does?
TheTruth2
Id say personally the one on the left is about 110ish and the one on the right is just under
accman
I, also, think less than a 100 on each. But it's easy to see they come from some nice gene pools. Real nice bucks.
beachpeaz
Agree with the majority above. He would score about 115 give or take: (this is just guessing based on the picture): Inside Spread - 18" G1's - 4" total (3+1) G2's - 16" total (8 + 8 ) G3's - 12" total (6 + 6) Main Beams - 40" total (20 + 20) Mass - 24" total (average 3" x 8 ) Total - 114" Edited November 7, 2012 by beachpeaz

So 114" less 14" is 100". If you over-estimated any other measurements, its just below 100"

beachpeaz
are you serious with those measurements? LMAO neither of them break 100" great bucks tho simple math based on a PICTURE. there is absolutely nothing to compare it to. Holding a deer in your hands and looking at a picture are 2 different ball parks. Based on that picture, that is pretty close.
Geno C
I'm going to say G2's are more like 12" so thats 8" off right there, and the G3's are like 9" so thats 6" off right there. So 114" less 14" is 100". If you over-estimated any other measurements, its just below 100" and no where near 20" beams or spread..

So 114" less 14" is 100". If you over-estimated any other measurements, its just below 100" I disagree, again based onthe picture. I did an average. The left side is larger than the right. he may have 8" in 2's on his left and 7" on his right, so MAYBE an 1" less. His 3"s on his left are definitely 6"! That deer maybe be 105 - 110 because the main beams are impossible to tell how long they are with a picture. other thanthat, I stand by that estiamation. BizCT
If the OP measures the tines, I'm sure somebody will be able to estimate it pretty damn close.

beachpeaz
and no where near 20" beams or spread.. main beams on a white tail are typically slighly larger than the spread. He is about 18" wide. His main beams would be 18" - 20" APPROXIMATELY.
Geno C
first off that deer does not have 20" beams NOR 24" in mass do you even know howmuch mass that is??
beachpeaz
i want you to score my buck if i get one... your generous no problem. I score deer all the time. I score deer on my trail cameras every year and have been with in a few inches once they are on the ground. Not a hard thing in normal circumstances. he has one view, in a box, straight on. it is impossible to tell how big or smallt hat deer is. he could be 100, he could be 115. that is a minute difference since mass x 8 could be plus or minus 8" alone. The main beams could be 17" or 20" that is plus or minus another 6". etc, etc, etc.
beachpeaz
first off that deer does not have 20" beams NOR 24" in mass do you even know howmuch mass that is?? an average of 3" x 4 x 2 is not that much mass at all. In fact, that is super crappy. My buck in my avatar averaged almost 4.5". Go ahead and draw a 3" inch circle. its pretty tiny.

Geno C
beach your way off, no offence dude... the angle the OP sent is actually pretty good to get close on the score. those deer are not over 100"
