First day of AR in 4R

Today was the first day of ar in 4r (and a bunch of other wmus as well). As expected I heard about a quarter of the amount of shots that we typically hear on opening day. Amazingly the first shot was at legal shooting time. Of the 5 guys in my group, we all saw the same 4 pointer and I also saw a small crotch horn. Very disappointing day for us, but there are 2 bucks still on their feet due to AR. Hopefully they grow into bruisers next year.

ARs are definitely a big change. But you should see some nicer deer next year.

i wish we had ar up here a LOT of bucks would survive to be 2 yr olds if we had it, instead of being shot w 2 in spikes out of there baby face

4R is across the highway from me (4H) and there was definately less shooting going on yesterday morning and afternoon ! Not out there today but back at it tommorrow !
