A ban is a little to late isnt it. there are millions of AR 15's, AK'S, mini 14's ect.. in circulation. Changes nothing. There is a law against owning a handgun without a permit to. I dont see drug dealers and gangsters running down to get them legal. Only thing it does do is make alot of people who own them a little richer since there price will sky rocket. It would be a good investment to go get one right now if you can. You might pay 1200 for one but pretty soon the price will double. Along with high cap mags to. Also this is a good thing, the last time the Dems pushed gun control legislation they all lost their jobs next election. So Republicans will be in control of the Senate to pretty soon.

I totally agree. The only one it effects is the law abiding citizen. People scream to be protected and rights get taken away. And most sit back and let it happen.
