Sitting here having hot Coffee and finally winding down...aaahhhhh.....

Holidays are great and I love seeing everyone ...but the rush rush rush especially on the heels of 3 months of hunting is a tad crazy....lol

Today its take the new car in for it's final inspection and the new studded tires a good washing and then home....I'll be trying to figure out my new Kindle...and call our server to ask where my WiFi is???...and to let them know I'm not happy my ping shows 2gb and I'm paying for 10...yes as the kids say ...we are the only ones left in the world with DSL...LOL.....back to normal life stuff....

Good luck dealing with the DSL crap. If you are too far from their "hub", you wont get squat for speed, and they wont give you any breaks. I delt with it for 2 years living in Honeoye.

we have Verizon Mifi and are supposed to get 4G but only get 3 for some strange reason... its still light years better than dial up... lol

So I call tech services...30 mins. of typing in codes ...he goes to get more advice...then comes back and says it's a bad modem...OK lets try the sons modem...same thing...going to send me a new one.... Oooooppsss...forgot to tell you now we will charge a rental fee of $6 a month....Nnnoooo!!! ...You broke both modems I have...resetting them...then say I need a new one...but old agreement won't cover it...not exceptable...at all...so I go to customer service..little hot now.. when I finished speaking she said.... OK new modem no charge

Now no internet until new one arrives...so Mr. B brought home his old one...no WiFi for the kindle for another 4 days

All tech coming out Jan 7...we have had over a thousand disconnects this month alone...that surprised even me and I knew it was bad...Country living...lol

Wow...They must have know I wasn't at all happy...the 5-7 day wait...turning into 24hrs...the UPS guy just delivered the new modem....I'll get to play with the new kindle tonight...
