PREDATE Posted January 13, 2013 Share Posted January 13, 2013 Sounds great! My dad used to pickle them. A buddy of mine a few years ago ate 2 hearts in the wintertime and had a stroke. His doc said to eat them only during summer when you can sweat it out. I'll have to look into it some more, because they sure are tasty! Predate, Why would eating venison heart contribute ot a stroke? I thought that the heart unlike dear liver (which I love) , the heart is almost pure muscle. with little colesterol? Just curious.
