i didnt know where else to put this question so i started a new topic.. what is the rules on buying an evil black gun out of state and bringing it into ny?

i believe it's illegal. However, i imagine you could get away with this for the next few months. If you do choose to register I imagine the gun would have been manufactured pre-ban and they have no proof it was bought out of state after ban. That is if the state you buy it from doesn't look into you.

On the flip side if it was manufactured post ban and you try to register it... you're in hot water. But I dont know too many people who plan on registering.

register what.. i dont have anything i figure out of state they will see im from ny and be like hmmm. is CT still selling them?

I doubt anyone will sell a AR to a new york resident. They won't even sell us ammo.

I don't think the law can stop you from buying a stripped lower AR. Then if you just happened to have parts laying around could build it. Not really sure if that would be legel

I can't believe so many people waited for this to happen to stock up on ammo . As soon as i heard the the govt was stock piling ammo for the border patrol i knew something big was in the works , all they needed was an excuse to start pulling their BS .

Yea I was trying to warn people... Got called crazy and such. Theres a few threads made with quotings like " did they take your guns yet ".

And my answer would be not all of them but theres not even a 22. rifle on the self at my local Herbs. So there without a doubt working on it.

The Border Patrol has been buying a large quanity of ammo for years. They buy more now because their ranks have swelled as per late.

The BP will always be able to get ammo, why would they need to stockpile now?
