Coyote Success?

Anyone having any luck with calling coyotes these days? Seein alot of trappers and guys with dogs seem to be having the best luck with getting the yotes.

Went out today for some calling. Woods very quiet except for a squirrel that wouldn't leave me alone. Minimal wind which was a welcome change. Felt like a heat wave when it hit 20 degrees. No yotes though.

I called 1 in a few nights ago. I flubbed @ 50yd. shot. It can get very frustrating, but when you do connect it is awesome.

First round of baiting didn't go to well. Wanted to due some this cold snap but didn't have time to go out. Next cold snap I will. I'm looking for bunker oil.Know of anyone having any in stock? Been quiet the last few times out. Looking to due an all nighter soon.

I have not gotten one myself and haven't heard of to many being taken. Which in odd. Would like to see a picture of some 2013 yotes taken though.

How about fresh herring?

Herring is good. Bunker oil smells nastier though. Use trout, wet cat food,wet dog food, of course dog food,top it off with suet as a garnish.

I never had any action on fish. Of course it was in the hills where walleye carcasses are un-natural. Most of my predators prefer mammals!
