Marlin x bolt

Whats up guys it's that time I start thinking about a new hunting rifle and I was looking at a Marlin x bolt 270.

Any one have, used or shot one of these.

Well more information as to what you have and what your going to be using it for would probably be helpful. But i think you need to actually do some more of your own research as marlin doesnt make an X-bolt, other than that marlin makes a solid entry level rifle as does mossberg

Im pretty sure the Marlin bolt action model numbers do start with "X". But its something like "X7" or "X7R". Easily confused with the "X-bolt" (Browning)

I dont own a Marlin bolt gun, but from everything I have heard, they are good guns. Especially for the money. I read a review of them, in one of the magazines, and they did well.

I'm using it for a well rounded well shooting firearm lol. I have owned rifles my whole life and this will be no " entry level gun ".

I was more asking about marlin rifles in general. Anything I need to hunt in NY a 270. is just fine for, so that was never a question.

Definitely give us a range report. Like I said, I have heard good things about them & I need an excuse to buy another rifle..... LOL!!
