Avon deer Feb 24 ,2013

Saw some deer in a field along Rt 15 8/10 of a mile south of Rt 5 & 20 south of the Traffic signal in a fairly populated area . I backed the car up and the deer stopped what they were doing and watched me even though I was almost 200 yards from them . Snapped one pic just before they ran off .

Avon has a big problem with deer in the village. They've tried to get bowhunting in the village allowed but it'll never fly due to insurance/liability issues. The citizens support it en masse from what i understand, but the companies insuring the village won't let it happen.
