Sap Rice

Well I finally got to make some and try it for lunch with my ham steak. MMMMM Good.

Quart of sap boil down to 1-1/2 cups filtered it and then added 1 cup of wild rice mix.Brought it to a boil and then let it simmer for 45 minutes. Then let cool a little,it had a hint of the maple syrup flavor. I guess the sugar content is up this year.Going to try some sweet sasauge next.
