Tom today for a photo op. He came in from two properties over and came in to my nature voice calling with in 15 mins...Gobbling his head off.....wish pics were better but it's dark out due to a storm coming in...he came in behind the dogs kennel and I got the pics from the PC window...just a young jake..or perhaps a Tom that lost his beard...he displayed in the field but trees blocked my view...I'm Ready!!

I shot a gobbler a few years back with little to no beard. Had the full fan and mature gobble and decent spurs....just not beard. Strange but it happens. Congrats on calling a turkey in with your voice!

Thanks TB...I should have said first of the season...I've been shooting Toms using my natural voice for years...I practice all year long ...enjoy the pics...almost as much as the turkey dinners come May..

Paula....I would have if I knew where I put it...I happen to have the camera out cleaning the disk up and getting ready to take to the DR's Office this a.m.....He's a hunter as well...

Though I do need to find it for this springs opener...I may have a calling session to post...need to get the hens coming in before May 1...I usually end up calling the hens in and they in turn bring the older boys around...lol
