Drive by a field that butts up to property i can hunt today. Cant hunt the field but there he stood...full strut for a hen! Couldnt get a pic but man that sucks! Been hunting near there and havent heard a peep or seen any birds until today. Guess maybe i should get my butt outta bed tomorow morning!

I know the feeling. There is still time. Dragged myself outta bed yesterday and was rewarded with a gobbling maniac tom that met his maker within a half hour. Was back in bed before the family woke up. Go get em.

Saw two adults hanging out behind a nursing home in Clarence today, strutting for each other.

I've been seeing a ton of Hens all by theirselves lately. Dont know where the Toms have disappeared to!

My buddy has a farm and has turkey problems. Each time I go there to hunt them I never see or hear anything. eventually I quit going after a few times. this year I havent gone at all . However I seen 3 big toms and a bunch of hens when I was helping out at his farm. We also found a active coyote den in the trench. they dug in the side wall of the trench and out on top. when we drove over to the den the mother ran in the opposite direction trying to get us away from her den of pups. I took my mag light and shined it in the hole and saw 4 or 5 sets of pup eyes looking at me. was pretty cool. I talked my buddy into keeping the yotes there and not shooting them because they will help out will the turkey problems.
