doe tags

hey i was wondering about doe tags... i wanted to get one for this year but heard i might be too late? is this true? if no how do i go about getting a doe tag?

They normally start giving out doe permits in August, when the new licenses go on sale. You've got plenty of time.

You just pay an extra $10 when you buy your license and choose the WMU you wish to take the doe from.

It is too late.  They stopped selling the 2012 doe tags around 6 months ago.

Maybe he is looking for early archery season tags in Northern Zone.

 

I know I am thinking about hunting in the fall for deer, pheasant, and turkey.  I have been making mental plans for it over the past 2 weeks and thinking about purchasing my next set of tags for 2013/2014.  Come on August...

The 2013-2014 sporting license year starts on Oct. 1st 2013 and that is also the cut off date for DMP tags(except for leftovers) which become available around Nov. 1st.  I think that when hunting prior to Oct. 1st(northern zone) last years tags are required.
