growalot
So I ran out of surfactant to add to my weed killer...but still lots to spray ...I added a couple of ounces of dormant oil that I use on the fruit trees....Dang that worked good and is doing ddl duty for me seeing it's an insecticide...every thing I sprayed turn yellow in 4 days ...lets hope it takes care of a few problems as well.... So when are you guys starting your fall plantings?...I am putting in a fall alfalfa/sainfoils/clover plot with a cover of ...hhhmmm not sure WW....WR..or oats? what do you think? and then turnips and GHR...and maybe some more max-attract (sp) Edited July 16, 2013 by growalot
Pav2704
I was actually thinking of posting the same question. Since my corn plot has failed two years in a row I still have three quarter acre plots to plant. I'm thinking about planting brassica and winter peas before the next big rain that we get hopefully within the next two weeks and in the last plot I will plant oats probably around the last week of August. It's always a challenge planting around the weather since I live on the island. What about everyone else?
WNYBuckHunter
We are planning to have our plots planted by the end of the 1st week in August, or at least thats what we are hoping for.
