You can pick up an arrow puller from the same place you got the target. It works - ok.

 

Don't spray you arrows with all that crap.  Get one of these.  Twist while you pull it out.  My 9 year old can pull out the arrows with this.

they sell arrow pulling compound i believe its called venom smear it on the arrows and theypull much easier

This is why I only shoot 1 arrow into my 3-D target. Usually start my practice session out with a 30 yard shot at the 3-D target. Then I shoot the rest of the time at the bags. I just picked up the boss buck (I believe) for $60 at Bass Pro. Was in their flyer. Should work fine and last me forever.
