I grabbed binoculars and hit the hedge row . What do I see? 

 

2 sets of TRIPLETS

1set of twins

1doe and a fawn........total of 4 doe with 9 fawn!...I need to have the Camera on at all times now

Wow 9 fawn, that is amazing. I saw 3 fawn tonight eating the lawn at Webster Park here in Monroe County.I am assuming triplets.Saw 3 there last year too.

Sounds like there is some future population thinning that will be required in the area.

I'll tell ya Doc...we always have good fawn births...but we have two different.... larger parcels..one above us and the other down below..both border us...... where the owners refuse to allow any doe harvests...which is good from the point of view that we have a huge hunter population and everyone can get 4-6 doe tags a year...which let me tell you many use...some years I'm glad the deer have those safety zones..multiple births are common here and I do usually see at least one set of triplets...but two plus twins in the same field knowing I have at least on set of twins living in the lower fields with several singles....the winters have been kind to the herd!

That is for sure. Last winter got a little more back towards a normal winter, but nothing exceptionally rough. And of course the winter before that was "the winter that never happened".
