growalot Posted September 3, 2013 Share Posted September 3, 2013 At the hospital for my MRI today...met a gentleman that can't be near the MRI....He has 6 remaining pellets in his chest from a fall turkey hunt...friends got together and did a safety talk...then they all went out to flush flocks to call back in...he came out of some pines and knelt down to see where his friends were at...Bam!!!....The guy that did the safety talk ...shot him in his left side......20++ pellets in his chest...pellets in his head one hit his eye glass lens right in the middle and pellets in his legs..... beachpeaz Posted September 3, 2013 Share Posted September 3, 2013 That happened on the property Ihunt. Guy was turkey hunting, calling sitting up against a tree. Meanwhile another guy (tresspassing mind you) stalked him thinking he was a turkey. Saw a bit of movement behind a tree and lit the guy up. He had to be merci flighted to the hostpital. The possibility of tresspassers are always in the back of my mind though, so I am mindful of that.
