RichZ7
My buddy took a walk today while he was working in a new spot we want to hunt. He said he found 3 fresh scrapes. Anyone else seeing any recent scraping?

RichZ7
Just an update....my buddy used some Mock Scrape on one of those scrapes he found the other day. He sent me a text pic of it and it was ripped apart. He checked it around 5:30 tonight. I'm going to bed now....going out at 5 in the morning. Hopefully some luck will shine down. NYDeer
Yesterday, while driving on Sunrise, I saw 2 good bucks battling in the grass field between Connequot State Park & the SC Water Dept Building.. A small doe was standing right there with them so I guess it will be kicking off soon..

I stop by the SCWA parking lot once or twice a week on my home from work to see what deer are feeding in that area. I have seen mostly does and small bucks. I would imagine that some really good bucks live in Connetquot Park. Too bad we cannot hunt them.
Geno C
when my buddy started rattling, he had a nice buck come flying in to his rattle sequence. he did not see the deer but i could hear him rattling and i saw the buck come flying in at 80 yards or so heading my buddies direction circling down wind. HectorBuckBuster
I have seen scrapes for a few weeks, Sat I seen a buck chasing a doe, he was grunting behind her. If he only followed the trail of the doe, instead of taking a short cut, would have had a shot. My buddy seen 5 bucks in a field and the big guy of the bunch deceided to make some deer porn in the middle of a open field on Sat morning arounnd 9am. I am thinking this week is going to be good. meatmuzzy
It exploded this weekend where i hunt. There was one hot doe with 4 different bucks chasing her. Scrapes were all ripped up & fresh and about a half dozen new rubs popped up. Saturday evening I saw a bunch of does acting really nervous when out of no where this spike comes running in chasing every one of them. He passed my stand grunting three times that evening. Then the next morning I shot the 7 pointer. After I shot him I got out of my stand and was talking on the phone to a friend when a 5 point walked to within 10 yards. I snort wheezed at it & he was gone. About 2 minutes later I look over & here comes another smaller 7 point! Snort wheezed him outta there too. What a weekend! I'd say now's the time to sit in the woods all day. P.S. I shot the buck at 10:30 A.M.
