2012_taco
Ok I know from my trail cam pics that the bucks are going through the rear yard between 3:30 - 5:30 am. they have been hitting the pears every night. I believe they are bedding close by in the scrubs/hardwoods within 300-400 yds. behind the house. They spend the majority of the nights in the corn fields across the street. My thoughts are that trying to get in quiet in the dark will only spook them or bust them out, so I'm thinking my best bet is to wait until light and play the winds so I can stalk my way into my stand or just hit the stands in the afternoons. I also believe they are staging close by to enter the corn right after dark. Anybody have any better ideas?

Work your way in from the east side of the woods only as far as you have to if you think they are snoozing close to the house/road/field. They could wander over............................. What would Tom do? grins.....
