i have three trail cameras out how long shoud i wait between checking them ? and what should be my cut off date for not going out there at all ?

depends on access, if along field edge 1x a week maybe , thick area 1 x for the season.

I guess you have to check them at some point, how else would you know if there's anything in the area?
