Jrs5144
I have had a cantilever scope/rifled barrel for my 870 for a few years and I have trouble seeing through the scope ( eyes align too low). I always want to raise my cheek off the stock. Has anyone had this problem? I know there are cheek pads you can strap onto the stock, has anyone used one they have liked? Thanks for the help! Culvercreek hunt club
I have never used them but I do know of one friend that bought a Monte Carlo stock for his and that raised it enough.

ants
Check your scope rings first. You might have low rings. They come low, medium and high. It might be as simple as going to high or medium rings. Good luck. Just noticed that you said you want to raise your cheek to sight so its probably not the rings.....sorry. OnHoPr
It might not be pretty but I just electric taped a couple of pieces of heater hose and a piece of soft foam pipe insulation to bring my cheek weld up to the scope.
