MACHINIST
Just like the title says.I have had a few but they never worked good in the woods. That was around 10 years ago so I am hoping they are a little better now than then.I am starting to hunt the big woods up north more and want it for just a few spots not 100's. HuntOrBeHunted
I had never had luck with handheld GPS's. Had a Garmin brand new had a hard time getting any maps. The ones I needed most I had to pay for almost 60 bucks. I brought the gps back and put a rifle on layaway
MACHINIST
I dont care about it laying over a map.Just point to point and laying out a trail to a few deepwoods stands or
Jeremy K
Garmin etrex (i think the summit , its tanish brown) is the one ive been using for a few years now , it does alot more than i know about , i figured out how to mark a trail and label waypoints , which is nice because you can then over lay that onto google earth image . They've been out a few years now so im guessing they can be had for under 200 bucks.
