Bears on Italy Hill...Yates County

Any advise for hunting bears on Italy Hill in Yates County?  I'm going to try to concentrate on some bear hunting after tagging my buck last week and have never really just bear hunted before.

Any luck? We used to have a cabin up on Italy Hill a few years back, know the land quite well - never saw any bear but some good deer hunting - I saw your profile - I grew up in Ontario and live in Walworth now.

I have never hunted bear and wouldn't care to be close enough to shoot one . My son owns property in Italy Valley between Potter and Naples near Camp Koininea (sp) and had bear on his property . He had pics of some bear on a Trail Cam a few years ago . Also had some tear apart some hay bale targets probably looking for mice / insects . Then they tore up some fencing and got his peaches .
